JekkoUSA is the exclusive U.S. distributor of Italian-made Jekko minicranes
Fascan International’s story begins in 1982 when Bernie J. Faloney Sr., owner of Contractor’s Machinery and Equipment Ltd. in Ontario, Canada, took on the Fassi line of articulated hydraulic cranes as part of its offerings.
Contractor’s Machinery and Equipment’s success with the Fassi product line across Canada led to the expansion of Faloney Sr.’s operations into the United States.
Incorporated on May of 1992, Fascan International was founded to distribute Fassi cranes through the United States and the Caribbean. Bernie J. Faloney, Jr. was appointed President & CEO of the new company, and its headquarters were established in a 10,000 square-foot distribution facility in Baltimore, Maryland.
Fascan’s success in the U.S. market resulted in several expansions throughout its history. Fascan currently operates from a 55,000 square foot facility in Baltimore, and has put nearly 5,000 Fassi cranes into service in the U.S.
Founded in 2011 by Fascan International, JekkoUSA is the exclusive U.S. distributor of Italian-made Jekko minicranes, compact crawler and pick-and-carry cranes designed to offer maximum lifting capabilities, precision control and safety in limited or confined work areas.
Jekko minicranes are equipped with outriggers and are ideal for operating in interior project spaces. These versatile machines have lifting capacities ranging from 1.2 to 8 tons.
Jekkos are designed to get into the limited working spaces and still be able to setup to complete very precise and challenging lifts. Jekko minicranes can drive through a standard door, fit into confined spaces, and can be deployed in minutes. Their compact footprint allows operators to get closer to the load object which increases the safety factor. Available in electric or gas-powered configurations, these machines are perfect for indoor/outdoor plant and industrial use, bridges, tunnels, mines, glass installation, steel erection and much more.
